Mystery Tea Parties

The magazine "Country Victorian" has done a special article on the mystery tea parties. "Host a Whodunnit" is the name of the feature, and they headline "Who Killed the Darling Duke of Darjeeling" and "Who Killed the Roving Romeo of the Red Feather Ladies."
Hosting a mystery tea party for friends or family is a great way to entertain. The party plans also lend themselves to club programs and fund raisers. They have proven very popular with Red Hat groups as well as church groups.

  2. Aloha Maxine,
I would like to share my mystery tea party with you. My family and friends had a wonderful time (Nov 2008). My apologies for the late update. We all wore santa hats with flashing lights. My mom really enjoyed herself, she came out of her shell. The mystery tea scripts brought most of my family and friends out of their shells. We filled in a few words as we went through the party.
The food was delicious: baked turkey, cornbread dressing, brown gravy, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, sweet potato pies and iced tea (to perfection, the southern way, we added the sugar while the tea was hot and then added the ice). I served ice cream later in the evening for the kids to enjoy after their dip in the pool.
Absolutely, wonderful! Thanks for the newsletters. Thanks for creating an amazing mystery tea party program.
    Mahalo,
    Katie
