Box Luncheon tea party

This afternoon my Red Hat group enjoyed a Box Lunch. We each packed a lunch suitable for a tea party in a decorated box or basket. Each box had a number put on it, and then we all drew numbers. We then received the box that had our number on it. The boxes and baskets were all different, and very creative. Some were done in store bought hat boxes, some in big gift baskets, and one in a picnic basket with a Valentine Teddy Bear attached to it. (This was held on Feb. 12th)
My decorated box contained a wrap sandwich, candy, carrot cake, and a side dish of fruit and berries. The hostess provided drinks and a Watergate salad.
A fun and easy way to entertain!

  1. Your Box Luncheon tea party sounds like a lot of fun. I am with a company that demonstrates how to brew tea correctly and the health benefits of tea at home tea parties. I have used two of your mysteries at a couple of my tea parties. Everyone really enjoys them because they get to participate. We also do other theme parties and everyone really enjoys tasting our premium loose leaf teas and eating our scones. If you would like to make some extra money, check out our website at: www.heavenlyspecialteas.com We have consultants from coast to coast and really would like to recruit more. You can also order our teas and afforadable tea ware right off the internet. "I don't work. I party!"
